Care instructions for Kivi carpet

Care/Cleaning

Regular vacuum cleaning and airing. Possible stains or fluid spilt on the carpet should be immediately removed by dry cloth or tissue paper, before absorbed into the carpet. Thereafter the stains can be wiped off by a damp cloth (do not rub). Use water rather than stain removers.

Washing instructions

Use professional carpet cleaners. Professional dry cleaning or flat wash with subsequent pressing through cylinders. Only flat drying. Washing at home is not recommended. Do not spin-dry!

Stain removing table

* beer
* cream
* egg
* milk

To be treated in neutral detergent solution, rinsing.

* blood

Neutral detergent solution, dried up stains to be treated several times.

* coffee
* fruits, fruit juice
* Ketchup, mustard
* Vegetables
* Wine, liquor

Neutral detergent solution, discolourations to be treated with citric acid. Rinse well.

* Cacao
* Chocolate

To be rubbed with washing paste. Rinse well.

* Chewing gum

Swelling with ethyl alcohol, to be removed mechanically.

* Ballpoint pens
* Felt-tip pen

To be dissolved with ethyl alcohol, dabbing, posttreatment with detergent solution, rinsing.

* Fat, oil
* Lipstick
* Shoe polish

To be dissolved with ethyl alcohol, dabbing, posttreatment with washing paste. Rinse well.
